Digital gamification as a methodology for learning Multivariable Calculus in university technology programs
Main Article Content
Abstract
Learning multivariate calculus is one of the greatest academic challenges in public university technological programs, due to the complexity of its concepts and the pedagogical limitations of traditional teaching methods. Faced with this reality, digital gamification emerges as an alternative to traditional methodologies, implementing different game mechanics in virtual learning environments, seeking to strengthen students' motivation, commitment, and mathematical understanding. The objective of this work is to implement digital gamification as a methodology for learning multivariable calculus in university technological programs, The research was developed under a qualitative approach using as data collection techniques a survey in forms, some tools to highlight were genially and geogebra among others, these digital tools were linked to gamified strategies aimed at conceptual development and resolution of problems.
