Biopsychosocial Processes Inherent to Language Acquisition in the Venezuelan Population: A Critical and Reflective Perspective

This article presents part of a research currently being developed on a theoretical approach for the development of socio-educational processes in the teaching and learning of English in Venezuelan secondary education, a critical look from the communal perspective, analyzing the most important aspects in the acquisition of language by our people, reference is made to linguistics as a scientific-social current that studies language from both perspectives, it has levels of linguistic analysis, such as: phonetic-phonological, syntactic, morphological, semantic and pragmatic. But first, you can find concepts related to the subject, as well as a brief explanation of how speech is produced at the brain level and the vocal apparatus. Likewise, it is explained that language is an exclusive faculty of the human species, according to Cisneros and Silva (2007); to produce and decipher it requires the intervention of two processes: coding and decoding respectively, these occur in conjunction with the simultaneous activation of the aforementioned body structures. At the community level, we find that the family and teachers are key pieces in the acquisition and development of language in children and adolescents, as they represent a role model, from whom they learn a large part of the words they use daily when communicating. Also, the factors that influence the learning of a foreign language are mentioned, as well as the wonderful experience of the teachers participating in PNF and PNFA in the area of the foreign language English in Venezuela.
